We presented Jack a problem with our landscape.  We are beginners to landscaping and needed someone with a strong vision with little input from us.  Although we knew Jack could create a good design, we knew by talking with him that we could trust his experience and vision to deliver results without creating a comprehensive design.  During the process, when we had questions or concerns he immediately reacted.  For example, in the last minute, we decided to replace a dying tree.  Without hesitation, Jack found a quality replacement and completed the work almost immediately.  We are extremely pleased with the results, because Jack provided us with a solution that truly met our needs.

After 10 years in our Eagan home we finally decided to landscape our backyard.  When we moved in, we fenced it in and cleared away the brush.  Once a year we sprayed round-up and weed whipped, but that was about it.  A couple of years ago we put in a screened porch and decided we wanted to look out over something more pleasant than weeds.  We contacted four landscapers and after careful consideration selected Jack.  We are not gardeners and don’t like spending a lot of time on yard work so we wanted landscaping that was virtually maintenance free.  We also wanted to put in plants that attracted birds, bees, butterflies, etc to backyard.  We got so excited about Jack’s ideas and found him so easy to talk to that we expanded the project to include the front and side yards. 

Jack did not supply us with a drawing plan, but explained all the plants we would be getting and helped us envision what he saw.  He also encouraged us to select plants that we especially liked.  Jack was incredibly flexible with our last minute changes and was still able to finish the project on time.  Since we didn’t have a drawing, every day was like an adventure.  Dramatic changes occurred literally before our eyes.  The alteration was astounding.  It is great having a backyard, we’re not embarrassed to show other people and we’re looking forward to the next ten years as the plants mature and fill in.
